Hello Creatives!

I believe each and every one of you has the ability to develop your creative practice and reach a level of working that you’re happy with. I’ve been mentoring and tutoring other artists for over 20 years and take on a small number of people each year who want support developing their creativity and/or their creative business.

I take time to understand your needs, explore where you want to go with your work and then create a structured and purposeful framework that works for you.

HOW I KNOW WHAT YOU NEED?

Well put simply - Its what I need as well!

I spend every week in my studio hitting the same blocks that you do, I experience the same insecurities and I navigate the same (hugely perplexing!) art world.

I’ve had to develop ways to keep creating with integrity and enthusiasm, I’ve had to keep going during periods of challenge or rejection and I’ve had to get my head around ways to keep myself strong and focused over the years.

I’ve worked as a professional Artist since 2003 and have also worked for many years as a Visual Arts Lecturer and Personal Tutor.

I can work with you and help you grow your creative practice by drawing on all of the experiences above.

How can we work together?

    We explore what you want out of your creative practise, look at areas you want to develop and decide where you want to take them next .

    I help you to create a structured plan, with clear and inspired goals, that is tailored to your specific creative needs.

    Assess your progress

    We assess your progress together as you work towards your goals and I support you fully as you grow and develop your practise.

    Together we can look at what is holding you back. I help you to find ways to overcome these issues and move forward.

How do our sessions work?

Initially I offer a free 15 minute taster session via phone to answer any questions you may have about working with me. I offer pricing on a sliding scale depending on your circumstances and needs, which we can discuss at this point.

Then we can book in a series of longer 1 hour sessions, or a singular session if you only need one. These can take place via phone or zoom (or even in person if you’d prefer). They are based around your own individual needs.

I will send you a basic questionnaire before you start so we can focus on your individual needs. This will also include written information about payments and cancellations as agreed in our taster session. I will then provide you with additional worksheets if needed over our time together, to help you further structure your creative development.
